That Red House Organic Soapberries

$18.95$44.95

Soapberries are the fruit of the Sapindus Mukorossi tree. The fruit is picked, the seed removed and the shell dried. This dried shell is full of a substance called ‘Saponins’ which is a natural soap. Saponins reduce the surface tension of water, releasing dirt and grime from fabrics and surfaces. The tree grows in the Himalayan region of the world and the berries are used for many different cleaning applications. They are naturally antibacterial, anti fungal and hypoallergenic.

The small sized bag of soapberries will provide you with over 90 loads, the medium sized bag with over 180 loads and the large sized bag with over 365 loads of super economical, chemical free washing. They may be used in either top or front loaders.

Directions: Put 5 berries in the cotton wash bag provided and double tie the top. If you like fragrance, add 4-5 drops of 100% pure Laundry Tonic and place it in the wash. After around 5 loads of washing, the berries can be added to the compost or garden to break down naturally.

Soapberries are completely sustainable, eco friendly and 100% waste free.

That Red House products are hypoallergenic, biodegradable, vegan, chemical free, compostable and waste free.  The company is Australian owned and run.
